Case Description
Patient has been (and is now) hospitalized because she could not eat or drink without choking. Now has a feeding tube in stomach. After inserting a breathing tube a hard mass was removed from the throat which was hard dried food. This patient has no teeth and cannot chew the food. She has a past history of throat cancer. Recovering from bad infection. She is unable to pay for the medications, dentures, etc she needs. She is on medicare but does not know if dental is covered. Seeking assistance for her-anyone? We can help, however can the patient be transfered or not? Her condition is considered A disability and she should apply for Medicaid wich will cover her Meds and her dental needs. Our office number is 313-871-2222
