Dr. Mark Langberg was born and raised in the Detroit area and graduated 3rd in his class from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1977. He was awarded membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society honoring the top 5% of dentists nationwide, as well as the Arthur Merritt award in Periodontics. Dr. Langberg has always been deeply committed to continuing education and in 2003 he received his Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. To achieve fellowship status he had to complete over 500 hours of continuing education and excel on a rigorous 8 hour examination. He has attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies multiple times to study the latest cosmetic and restorative procedures. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Society, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, an associate member of the Detroit District Dental Society, and a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. Langberg is dedicated to providing premium dental care for his patients in the most comfortable manner possible. For instance, he offers Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas), cable TV, headphones, CD's and iPods during treatment. He has also been trained in the latest techniques for oral sedation, whereby your dentistry can be performed in the most relaxed and comfortable way possible, without anxiety and with little or no memory of your appointment. Dr. Langberg's high standards of excellence and personal integrity extends outside of his office as well. For example, he regularly calls his patients in the evening to make sure all is well. Dr. Langberg provides a unique blend of leading-edge capabilities in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and he is excited about the difference his dentistry makes in the quality of life of his patients. He and his wife, Lois, a dance instructor, have 3 children.

In simple terms, Dr Langberg and his team of dental care experts have spoiled all the members of my family with their skill, expertise and professionalism.I didn't know dental care could be so pleasant and so expert. I was referred to Dr Langberg by an associate who was totally pain phobic yet impressed me by her total lack of concern for anticipated visits to his office.After many years (decades) of neglect, once finding Dr Langberg and staff, I have enthusiastically become dentally healthy as I enter my senior years.Dr Langberg is kind, compassionate and exudes the pride in his work to contribute to my total health. His chair side manners are extremely pleasant.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.He has surrounded himself with an extremely competent group of front office staff and hygienists. They always greet me by first name although in may have been months since my last visit. Very impressive.
About Hygienist: Elaine has been my primary hygienist for the 10+ years I have gone to Dr Langberg. She is polite, friendly and seems like a member of the family who cares about the whole patient. She matches Dr Langberg in her perfectionism, thoroughness. She provides a perfect complement to the dental professionalism provided by Dr Langberg. Also highly recommended.

I have been going to Dr. Langberg for over 10 years, and I can honestly say that he is one of the best dentists in the area. He truly cares about his patients and his work is always meticulous and perfect. I am never nervous when I have a procedure done because I know that he will make sure that I have no discomfort at all. In fact, when I went to an oral surgeon who was not able to get the anesthetic to kick in, I called Dr. Langberg to ask for advice. The two dentists set up a plan to take care of the problem, and Dr. Langberg reassured me that if the specialist could not get the anesthetic to work, Dr. Langberg would come to the oral surgeon's office and administer the anesthetic himself. If I had needed him, I am sure he would have come, too.I just had a dental implant done by another specialist. I had problems with the cap the other dentist had made, and Dr. Langberg saw me a number of times at no charge to correct these problems. He is a great advocate and made sure that my implant is perfect.

Dr. Langberg is one of the most thoughtful health professionals I have ever met. He is deeply committed to making his patients as comfortable as possible in the office, and beyond satisfied with the work once they leave. After my more intensive procedures, Dr. Langberg calls me at home after my appointment to check on how I was doing. It is rare to find a dentist as caring as he is. He replaced my four front teeth with veneers and they came out better than perfect! I owe much of the self confidence I have today to Dr. Langberg.

This is one of the most pleasant experiences I have had with a medical facility. I am not sure of his costs, as I am blessed with dental insurance, but in terms of treatment, he isi superb. If Dr. Langberg does not teach dentistry, he should. He is the model every dentist should follow. He is patient, thorough, and even follows up with a personal phone call to check on patients after extensive procedures. I have never experienced pain or poor results from his procedures. He is "simply the best!"

I stumbled across Dr. Langberg's office by doing an internet search for a dentist. I've never really had much success with dentists. I could never find one that I really liked. I went in for a regular check-up and was contemplating major work but wasn't sure if I was ready for the expense and pain. The office staff is the BEST and Dr. Langberg is very thorough and detailed. He's a perfectionist and he cares about the patient and the work he does. I have had a lot of cosmetic work done and Dr. Langberg always follows up with me to make sure my mouth is okay. His work is awesome! I'm so happy with my mouth and I have yet to receive my permanent bridge. My temporaries look fantastic! I have so many compliments on my mouth and the ZOOM whitening. Dr. Langberg has made my Extreme Makeover a wonderful success. I have had pain before but here I'm amazed how careful the office staff is with procedures. I rarely have to take pain-killers. I'm definitely a patient for life.

I like Dr Langberg and his staff. They are very warm and positive about the treatment. I had veneers, whitening and a crown replaced. The cost was what I expected. I felt absolutely no pain. That'ts great!

Since I moving to Michigan I had the worst luck find a good Dentist. I could tell you some horror stories butinstead I will focus on the positive and tell you about my new dental experience. Dr. Landberg is great!!!!!! He is down to earth yet very professional. His staff is extremely friendly and caring. I had a tooth filled yesterday. When he gives you the shot of novacaneto numb the area you do not feel anything. It is truly amazing.When doing the dental work he is quick yet efficient. You will be shocked .................and thrilled. I was.

I was terrified of going to the dentist. Two of my business associates uged me to try Dr. Langberg. I wish I had found Dr. Langberg 20 years ago. He ended up doing my top 8 teeth with veneers. He is gentle, kind and a perfectionist, exactly what I want in a dentist. I would recommend his office highly. It's a busy practice, but you will get an appointment. I have decided to do my lower 8 teeth and I'm not nervous, just excited. I wish I could put my before and after pictures in. I look great! Thanks Dr. Langberg and Staff!

I moved from out of state and someone in my office recommended Dr. L. There are about 10 people in my group and and 4 of us go to Dr. L.My story...I had two older crowns replaced by Dr. Langberg. If only the original dentists had taken the time and care that he did... I was impressed by Dr. Langberg's conscientiousness and professionalism. His approach is consultative and educational. I never heard a sales pitch even when we talked about whitening. I'm confident that Dr. L gave me the information I needed - pros and cons - to make the best decision for my care.Dr. L runs a pretty efficient office. I'm sick and tired of going to an appointment at 3pm and not seeing the doctor until 4pm. I've had 5 appointments with Dr. L's office and I've never waited more than 10 minutes to see him. Dr. L is not the least expensive dentist I've been to. Maybe it's my insurance but I'm paying a little more out of pocket to see him than I have in the past. I'm not complaining but you might call ahead and get some quotes.
