I've lived in Madison Heights for 15 years and during our recent warm spell I ran into a neighbor while doing some yard work. I told him about my headaches and tooth ache. He's a doctor in training so I figured he'd know what I should do. He told me I should go to a dentist. He told me that he and lots of his coworkers at Beaumont Hospital go to see Dr. Kazanis in Royal oak. I called and told them about my pain and they got me in the same day. Turns out I needed my tooth pulled and had to take some medicine first. I came back and when I had my tooth pulled it was real easy. I then went back for a cleaning and had some long overdue work done. My headaches are gone and all my teeth are fixed. They treated me right at this office. Nothing hurt and I'd pass her name to another if asked.

Severe Dental Phobia Patient. My fear of the dentist had ruled the last 30 years of my life. Due to a extreme circumstance, I had no choice but to "make the call". Dr. Demi Kazanis was the only dentist to email me back, she was understanding,kind and caring. I have trusted Dr. Kazanis with all of my dental work. Root Canals/Extractions/Scaling/Crowns/Partials - I am almost complete. If you want a dentist that truly cares, I highly recommend Dr. Kazanis. After my first visit, the following day there was a letter sent to me saying that she was proud of me, as this was a huge step for me. Dr. Kazanis is so gentle, and so professional, that I could not believe that my work is almost complete. It was a horrific dental experience many years ago that made me develope my phobia of the Dentist. It was Dr. Demi Kazanis with her excellent skills, wonderful service that cured me of this phobia. After my extractions I receive a call, a number I did not recognize the phone nbr, it was Dr. Demi Kazanis calling me from home, wanting to make sure that I was recovering well. About Hygienist: My dental Hygienist, Christine was a big part of my overcoming my dental phobia. Because of my dental phobia I have not entered a dental office in so many years, I didn't know what to expect, I honeslty thought that she was one of the Dentist, that is how wonderful she is. i went to Dr Kazanis as a new patient on july 3, 2009 based on the referral of a friend. from the time i walked in the door to the time i walked out, I felt like a king. I was greeted very courteously by the receptionist and was treated promptly. The time taken by the doctor and her staff were unsurpassed by any dentist i have ever gone to. it turns out that i needed some additional treatment and dr kazanis was very forthright and professional with my treatment plan. I HAVE NEVER had the positive experience at a dental office the way I did at Dr. Kazanis's office. HUge Kudos to dr kazanis for delivering what she says she will do. You can tell the doctor cares very much about what she does and how she treats people.

First of all I have to say I can see why Dr. Kazanis was voted Top Dentist by HOUR Detroit in 2009. I initially went in very scared with many oral problems (both dental and medical). Dr. Kazanis was so thourough with me and explained all my options, what the fees would be, expectations, recovery, time frame everything! I didn't feel like I was just "a number" like I have at other offices. She and her AMAZING staff work well to make sure that each patient feels like they're the only person who matters. No request of mine or my husband went unfulfilled. They bent over backwards to please me and that's what I heard other people in the waiting area saying too. As far as what I had done, well with my medical condition all my teeth had started to decay because of medication I take. She turned me from an ugly duckling to a HOLLYWOOD swan! There were a few painless root canlas too and white fillings and two implants. I have sent five new people to her and they all love her too. I am so happy to have found her office. It is hard to get an appointment unless it's an emergency though because she is VERY busy! So call early and ask them to work with your schedule because the receptionists will accomodate if you ask.

About Hygienist: There are a few women hygiensts there. I see Abbey. They are very gentle and explain evertyting. She's not preachy either. Loads me up with tons of free full size samples too!

Dr Kazanis is the most personable and compassionate dr i have ever had the pleasure of getting work done by in my life. A couple months ago my tooth broke off. I was in excruciating pain and without dental insurance. I have a HUGE fear of dentists! I called the office and from the minute i spoke to the receptionist i knew i was in good hands. She got me in within 2 hours of my initial call. I was greeted by the dr personally when i walked in the door. I ended up having to get a root canal (PAIN FREE I SWEAR!!) and becuase of my lack of insurance was not charged for the emergency exam or the xrays. They also let me make payments on my total balance which was a huge convenience for me considering i have 3 children that basically drain my bank account! The entire staff was warm and inviting. I have since been back for some fillings and a cleaning and I feel like im being treated like royalty everytime I walk in the door. If your looking for a lifetime family doctor or just need emergency assistance I would Highly recommend Dr. Kazanis. Their office is definitley a class above the rest and are solely devoted to their patients. Dr. kazanis even went as far as giving me her cell # just in case i had any questions. Top notch service!

The office is quaint and smaller but beautiful on the inside, very modern and clean with lots of high-tech equipment. I have no insurance and they helped me be able to afford my dental work. She's the best. An example of how nice they are...it was raining when i left after one appointment and one of her assistants insisted on walking me to my car under an umbrella they had. WOW!
